Community Events
Annual Easter Egg Hunt (April)
Hosted by the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, Annual Easter Egg Hunt is a springtime tradition that welcomes children of all ages. Participants enjoy filling their baskets with plastic eggs containing candy and treats, making it a fun and festive event for families.
San Juan River Balloon Rally (June)
Hosted by the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, the San Juan River Balloon Rally takes place each spring at the soccer fields located just south of the Bloomfield Boys & Girls Club. The rally attracts approximately 20 hot air balloons along with their pilots and crews.
Residents and visitors have the opportunity to experience the balloons up close, meet the pilots, and watch the colorful balloons lift into the beautiful New Mexico sky. Families gather early to enjoy breakfast, balloons, and a memorable community experience.
Bloomfield Fall Fest (September)
Hosted by the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, Bloomfield Fall Fest is held each September at the River Walk, located at Vereda de Río San Juan. This family-friendly event features vendor booths, live music, food, and a variety of kids’ games and activities.
Fall Fest brings the community together to celebrate the season with entertainment and fun for all ages in a scenic outdoor setting.
Holiday Lighting Display (December)
The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce’s focus on family-friendly events continues with the annual Holiday Lighting Display, which marks the start of the Christmas season. Festivities include the Christmas Parade, Polar Express Santa Visit and train ride, and treats for the kids.
In addition, the Chamber of Commerce’s Angel Tree program helps ensure local children have gifts to open on Christmas Day, spreading holiday cheer throughout the community.
